Wardogs is a first-person tactical multiplayer shooter built around large-scale combined-arms battles for up to 100 players. Three teams compete to control randomized objective zones across destructible battlefields, using infantry weapons, vehicles, logistics, fortifications, and proximity voice chat. Players earn cash and XP through combat, support, transportation, and objective play, then spend persistent cash on custom loadouts, equipment, and vehicles across lives and matches.
About the Game
Go to Steam PageWARDOGS is an all-out warfare FPS that mixes tactical gunplay and combined-arms combat with building and destruction, in a militaristic sandbox for up to 100 players.
Its core mode takes its cue from the "King of the Hill" format: three teams battle for randomized 2x2 km Control Zones inside larger maps. Whichever team has the most players inside the zone scores points, and the first to reach 100 wins — and because zone locations and player tactics keep shifting, no two matches play out the same way.
Every decision matters
- Everyone starts with $10,000 and buys a custom loadout each life — weapons, gear, utility and vehicles.
- Teamplay pays: reviving squadmates, driving friendlies to the zone and holding the objective all earn cash.
- Money carries over between matches, so a well-timed investment in better gear or a vehicle can swing a battle and pay off big.
Play your way
- Chase the "Hot Zone" for double cash, snipe from afar in a ghillie suit, or fly supplies to your team by helicopter.
- Fortify a chokepoint with your own forward operating base, or crew an artillery tank and shell the enemy.
Chaos meets tactics
- Bring down apartment blocks with rocket launchers and plough through towns in armoured tanks — the world reacts to you.
- Build up and fortify key locations with your team for a tactical edge.
- Every moment is player-driven, with local voice chat for coordinating tactics or taunting the enemy. It is neither a battle royale nor an extraction shooter.
