Spyro 2: Challenge Playthrough Mod is an unofficial PlayStation ROM hack of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! by Blue Phoenix Games. Every level in the game has been altered in some way to build a new, harder route through the Homeworlds — gems, orbs, talismans and platforming challenges are relocated or restructured so veterans have to relearn territory they know by heart. The headline change is that the base game's well-known double jump glitch becomes a required technique rather than an optional trick, gating progress in reworked areas. Despite that, the hack is widely described as reasonable rather than kaizo-brutal: the whole game can be cleared without a deep glitch arsenal.
