Nine tracks, including 'Vroom' by The FaNaTix featuring Idris Elba, Davido, Koffee, Moelogo and Lil TJay; a Bring Me the Horizon version of the series' signature 'Moon Over the Castle'; Major Lazer featuring Lous and the Yakuza; Nothing But Thieves; Kim Dracula; Rosalia; Disciples featuring GoldLink; a London Grammar remix by George FitzGerald; and Jawsh 685, Music Rally, new to this entry, syncs driving to a chosen song: a beat counter drains as you drive and must be refilled by reaching checkpoints before the music runs out, Music Replay automatically cuts replay cameras to the beat of a selected track. Yamauchi calls it 'one of the big new inventions in Gran Turismo 7' and says the studio had wanted to combine music and driving 'for a really long time' — the idea was reportedly about five years in development, Sound design is treated as part of the same discipline: Polyphony's audio team records on hub dynamometers in Japan, Europe and North America using over 50 microphone types, capturing intake, engine, exhaust, cabin and tyre noise across asphalt, gravel, dirt, grass, wet and snow. The game uses ambisonic 3D audio, and an in-house physical-modelling synthesizer called Advanced Engine Sound for cars that cannot be sampled. The series has recorded more than 1,700 vehicles over 25 years
