Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counselor, or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees. You and six other unlucky souls will do everything possible to escape and survive while the most well-known killer in the world tracks you down and brutally slaughters you.
About the Game
Go to Steam PageFriday the 13th: The Game is a third-person survival horror game built entirely around multiplayer: seven camp counselors try to live through the night while one player hunts them as Jason Voorhees. Every round hands the counselors a different way out and hands Jason a different way to stop them, so no single plan works twice.
Play as Jason Voorhees
For the first time, you can wear the mask. Jason stalks from the shadows, ambushes when he chooses and finishes his victims with a wide set of brutal kills, some familiar from the films and some new. He grows stronger and more terrifying as the night wears on, and he knows these woods better than anyone. Fans can unlock the Jason of Part II, Part III, Part VI: Jason Lives, Part VII: The New Blood, Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell.
How will you survive?
As a counselor, survival is a game of risk and reward. Hide in the woods and wait for the police, band together to fight Jason head on, or quietly repair the boat and slip away while everyone else takes their chances. Each counselor archetype from the films has its own strengths and weaknesses, and the more you play, the more you unlock and improve.
Camp Crystal Lake and beyond
Matches take place in Camp Crystal Lake and the surrounding area, including film locations such as Higgins Haven. Item placement and the scenario change every session, so there are no patterns to memorize. A unified progression system, the Crystal Lake Database, unlocks counselor customization, Jason's movie costumes and secrets about Camp Blood.
Be kind. Rewind.
The whole game is drawn straight from the films, right down to the look of the 1980s, exactly the way you remember it.
