Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror experience, mixing the free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling. The Kickstarter was partial funding on top of the studio's own investment — total budget not disclosed. No official lifetime sales; SteamSpy estimates 500k-1M Steam owners (third-party band). A May 2025 Farm 51 filing put franchise revenue (incl. Chernobylite 2's weak Early Access) at just ~$0.2M for the period, and the studio reportedly cut staff. Editions: Enhanced → Complete (Switch got the Complete Edition Dec 13, 2024); sequel Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone hit Early Access March 6, 2025.
